BUSINESS PHYSICS / BUSINESS RULES

It should have happened.
But it didn't.

A service was completed, but no invoice appeared. A payment arrived, but the order didn't ship. DBeater looks for these gaps using business rules you approve.

FROM PATTERN TO RULE

Payment received.
Where's the shipment?

See which order is waiting and how long it has been delayed. Send it to the responsible team with the relevant records attached.

Product demo with sample data

Four kinds of checks.
One shared purpose.

01

Missing record

The service is complete. Was it invoiced? Look for the record that should follow a transaction.

02

Delay

Was a paid order dispatched on time? Check how long the next step is taking.

03

Amount mismatch

Does the invoice total match its line items? Find records that don't add up.

04

Process step

Did the transaction pass through the expected stages? See steps that were skipped or left incomplete.

FROM FINDING TO FOLLOW-THROUGH

What's missing?
Who should look into it?

See the records, expected timing and owner for each missing step. Keep the work in one issue from the moment someone picks it up to the final resolution.

Issues & Ownership

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING

Know the scope
of every rule.

Does every pattern become a rule?

No. DBeater first checks it against past cases, showing how many records support it and how consistently it holds. Only rules you approve are activated.

Are source records changed?

No. The source database is read-only. Issue and investigation statuses are tracked in the DBeater workspace.

How is this different from monitoring?

Metric monitoring looks at changes in an existing value. Business Rules can also detect when an expected record never appears or arrives late.
